Ashleigh Rothhammer has been around the insurance industry from the time she was a little girl. Her dad has been a life/health group benefits advisor since 1972. Joining the industry selling variable annuities, mutual funds, life insurance, and group health insurance after college was a natural progression for her.
When the economic recession started in 2008, Ashleigh switched to the media side of the industry. She discovered a passion to help individual businesses get better through technology, lead generation and marketing.
Now she’s a business development and digital marketing consultant at ITC and serves on the national board for Women in Insurance and Financial Services (WIFS).

Patience. I like to go fast and sometimes need to remind myself to slow down.

Talking to people and building relationships. Traveling to trade shows.

Yelp, FB and LinkedIn

Organized. OCD Organized.
How do you manage your to-do list?
Crossing things off. I have to or can’t stop, won’t stop working.
What’s the first thing you do when you get in the office?
Organize the day by time: two hours prospecting, two hours catching up, LinkedIn prospecting, etc.
What is your best everyday habit?
Kissing my baby girl.

What’s your sleep routine like?
There isn’t one. My three year old wakes me up most nights to come snuggle. Please give advice.
What does a typical day look like for you?
Wake up, make bed, get ready, take daughter to school, come home, work, cook dinner, bathe child, snuggle and workbook activity, put her to bed, work for another hour, then relax in bed watching Game of Thrones or Big Brother.

Tony Robbins, Guy Kawasaki, Gary Vaynerchuk.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
If it isn’t going to affect you in two years, don’t worry about it.
