In the marketing world, A/B testing is an experiment where you test two versions of material and show them to a small group of users. Measurements from both versions are taken.
These measurements help determine which version performed best at a given task, whether it was opens, clicks or conversions. The winner is the version the test groups respond better to. And it is sent or distributed to the rest of the audience. The marketer also uses that information to improve future marketing campaigns.
You can implement A/B testing in your email marketing strategy the same way. A/B testing is a great way to find out what sort of campaigns, buttons, layouts, and more work well for your agency.
